Dwyane Wade’s 18-year-old son, Zaire, has defended his younger sibling before and he’s going to do it as many times as he needs to! The teenager is obviously very loving and protective of 12 year old Zaya, especially now that she’s come out as transgender and needs all the support from her family against cruel people online.
That being said, the oldest child in the family followed suit after his dad and stepmom Gabrielle Union showed little Zaya love on social media following the reveal that she identifies as a transgender female.
That being said, Zaire took to his own platform to post a couple of sweet throwback pics that showed him and Zaya together when they were much younger.
In the caption, the 18 year old wrote: ‘Man, I remember bugging my mom as a child telling her I wanted a brother so bad. I was an only child looking for company and somebody to look after and take care of. I’ve been blessed to have my best friend, Zaya with me for twelve years. [We] did everything together…we fought, played, laughed and cried. But the one thing that we never did was leave each other behind.’

Zaire went on to also tell his little sister that: ‘I’ve told you I would lay my life down to make sure that you are 10 toes down and happy on this earth. I do not care what they think Z, you’re my best friend and I love you kid, and if it means anything, just know that there is no love lost on this side.’
Obviously, there’s no love lost when it comes to the rest of Zaya’s family either!
